Apple Watch

1. On your iPhone, open ScanMe.run, enter your athlete ID and tap Add to Apple Wallet, then Add.
2. Give your watch a minute to sync. The pass appears on a paired Apple Watch automatically.
3. At the finish, double-press the side button to open Wallet, then scroll to your parkrun pass.

Recent Apple Watches show the same barcode as your iPhone. If you'd prefer a QR code, choose it when you make your pass. Pass not on your watch? On your iPhone, open the Watch app, tap Wallet & Apple Pay and make sure your pass is switched on there.

Wear OS (Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch and others)

1. On your Android phone, open ScanMe.run, enter your athlete ID and tap Add to Google Wallet, then Save.
2. Open Google Wallet on your watch and look for the pass.

Which passes show on a watch depends on the watch and on Google Wallet's support in your country. If yours doesn't appear, the pass still works on your phone, or you can use the other Android options.

Getting it scanned at the finish

• Open it before you reach the scanner. Have the pass on screen as you walk up, with your finish token in your other hand.
• Hold your wrist flat and still, about a hand's width from the scanner phone.
• Struggling with the barcode? A QR code is easier to read on a small screen. Make a new pass and choose QR code.
• Test it at home. Install the parkrun Virtual Volunteer app (iPhone, Android) on another phone and scan your code before Saturday.
• Keep a backup. parkrun's official advice is still to carry your printed barcode in case your battery dies.
